The Historical Route of the Lines of Torres is a story map carried out within the scope of a doctoral research in Geography (Institute of Geography and Spatial Planning of the University of Lisbon), which allows to know a little of this tourist product and the importance that the military field fortifications, built mainly between 1809 and 1810, constituted for the defense of the city of Lisbon against the Napoleonic invasions (1807-1814).
