The Sunrise of Costa do Sol, Um lugar, Mil Sensações is a story map made in the course of Geographic Information Systems of the Tourism Management course of ESHTE, which allows to know a little of the Estoril Coast and how it was born in 1914 as a season maritime, climatic, thermal and sports based on the ambitious project by Fausto Cardoso Figueiredo and Augusto Carreira de Sousa (1913). This coastline dotted with fine sand beaches, from Guincho to Carcavelos, has become the most chic Portuguese seaside resort of the mid-20th century.
