Launch of the virtual exhibition "Bathing in Almada"

To celebrate the International Museum Day, the Virtual Museum of Tourism, in partnership with Almada Municipal Council, launches the digital version of the exhibition "Bathing in Almada", which documents the emblematic bathing resort that has long characterised the Municipality of Almada.

The exhibition includes photographs, postcards, newspaper clippings and tourist promotion material from the periods depicted, allowing visitors to travel back in time through the extensive sandy Costa da Caparica, the riverside beaches along the Pragal - Alfeite axis, and the Trafaria and Cova do Vapor bathing colonies.
