MUVITUR publishes article in “Dos Algarves” scientific magazine

The article entitled Story Map Caminhos d'O Conspirador: A literary journey in the village of Marvão with Branquinho da Fonseca was published in the most recent issue of the magazine “Dos Algarves”, which aims to present the new collaborative work developed within the scope of the Virtual Museum of the Tourism (MUVITUR).

“One of the resources used in the production of the story map was the database of the Virtual Museum of Tourism (MUVITUR) on whose website the final product will be made available. The contents and literary tourist itineraries organized by specialists allow online travelers to be involved in the imaginary geographies to which writers refer us. More immersive virtual experiences allow each user to discover the best routes through literary territories. The object of this work was the short story “O Conspirador”, by Branquinho da Fonseca (1905-1974) and the journey through the village of Marvão was enriched with drawings and photographs of his authorship.”

From the set of digital documentation selected for the preparation of this virtual experience, the digital objects that are part of the Municipal Historical Archive of Cascais stand out.
